John joined Access Bank in June 2012 and is currently Regional Chief Risk Officer for Access Bank East Africa, overseeing Access Bank Kenya, Congo and Rwanda. Before moving to East Africa, he previously worked as Chief Risk Officer for Access Bank Ghana Plc, Group Head Business Banking Risk Management for Access Bank Plc and Chief Risk Officer for Access Bank Rwanda Plc.
John is a B. Com holder from Kenyatta University – Major in Accounting, Holds a Masters of Arts Accounting and financial Management –University of Hertfordshire. He has been exposed to Leadership trainings at Wharton Business School (USA) and Professional Development Programs Moody’s Training.
He comes with over 15 years of Banking and Telecommunication experience in Africa. He has expertise Corporate & SME Risk Analysis and Revenue Assurance which he acquired from different institution from Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria and Ghana
